The world is a playground, so why won't your house be?

Didn’t you hate it as a kid, when your parents told you, you couldn’t jump on the couch. When you ran around the house, your parents told you to slow down. Or when you where jumping round, you’re parents said ‘watch out, you might fall’.

Well.. Tell your parents they could’ve build a house like studio Onion did. The house includes several stretchy nets, where kids can jump on and climb vertically. There’re also some slides and bounceballs included. The bedrooms are hidden in holes where you have to climb in and you can walk through several walls. How much of a kids dream come true is that?

This is cool, because this takes an offline spin to gamification. We want kids to play and run and move, instead of playing videogames. But sometimes we don’t give enough space for that, or it is just easier to give them their videogame so you can finally rest as a parent. This house is the perfect combination for rest and playfulness, since it is also positioned next to the beach. And another plus, it is a total save playground, so no worry for parents needed.

In the future, there might be more houses like this. We can feel the augmented reality slipping through our daily live and that can be kind of scary sometimes. We just want the next generations to enjoy their youth in as much of a real world as we had.

Would you wish your childhood spending in this house? We would surely try out some of those nets and slides.
