Technology and fashion are two worlds, melting together as one. As we all know 3D printed clothes are taking over the runway. Clothes where you can charge your mobile devices with solar energy are, also, quite a subject in the fashion industry.

Wearable:experiment is a company that couldn’t stay behind. They are looking for the combination to integrate wearables within clothes. The concept fulfilling this thought is called Navigate Paris. These are jackets with vibrating wearables integrated in the sleeves of the jacket. The wearable’s work together with your smartphone. You fill in the address you need to be. The next step is to put your phone away and let the jacket lead you with vibration. When you need to turn to the right, the right sleeve vibrates, the same goes for the left.

This innovation makes you enjoy de city offline, without getting lost. The jackets are designed by the city’s couture, which makes it fashionable. This innovation shows that you don’t have to look futuristic or weird when combining fashion and technology.

It seems like we want to let our technology to assist us, but still enjoy a life without having to be active on our devises all the time. We use technology to live offline.
